Site breakdown cover for your hoists
Breakdowns cost time, money and cause a knock-on effect for every element of a project. Direct Hoist can offer breakdown cover as required, with onsite emergency repairs and rapid response. We can also diagnose many faults on Electroelsa equipment remotely, saving you even more time and money.
Construction hoist installation and dismantling
Direct Hoist offers hoist installation and dismantling services of your own hoist – carefully and efficiently – by fully-trained tradesmen with minimum qualifications of NVQ Level 3 diploma in hoist installation and many years’ experience within the hoist industry. All Direct Hoist installation supervisors hold a valid CSCS card, are SSSTS-certified and carry current IOSH safety passports.
Independent thorough examination (LOLER)
Site safety is dependent on the safety of your lifting equipment. Direct Hoist undertakes HSE-approved thorough examinations under LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) 1998, including systematic and detailed inspection of critical parts by a competent person. We then supply a written report in compliance with LOLER 1998 – an essential requirement for every hoist on your site.
Weight testing
Weight testing is an essential element of any hoist safety inspection, including examination to LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) 1998. Direct Hoist’s weight testing includes safety, weight loading, overload protection, and braking system checks. Weight testing is certificated to LOLER standards.
